Gardening Monthly Report 2
On a lovely afternoon in June, a group of us visited the garden of Hunters End, at Button Oak near Bewdley, where the owners Mr and Mrs Page gave us a most informative and lively tour of their beautiful garden. It was filled with wonderful flowers and plants and many humorous sculptures and quirky items which made us smile. At the end of the tour, we had tea in the garden and were able to purchase plants, eggs and preserves to take home. We all agreed that this had been a most enjoyable day out and look forward to the next.

The rain held off for us when we were invited to Jackie Williams’ home one evening in August for coffee and cakes in the garden. It was a very pleasant gathering in Jackie’s lovely garden and she made us feel very welcome. Tea, coffee and cakes were in abundance whilst members caught up with news and plans for the coming months Everyone agreed it was a most enjoyable evening and we thank Jackie for her hospitality.
