PRODUCE 1 REPORT FOR 2022

Despite the lock-downs of 2020/2021, Produce 1 managed to keep in touch by e-mail and phone calls and had the occasional quiz and recipe challenge to keep us amused.  As soon as we were able, we met in gardens and went to local socially distanced eateries, which we all enjoyed. As restrictions were lifted, we resumed our 2020 programme and were able to meet in each other's homes once more.  Despite further lock-downs, 2021 ended with a lovely Christmas American supper and secret Santa gift.  Our topics for this year include, ironically, our Lockdown Favourite recipes, Plant-based meals and recipes to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.  We have also managed to fit in lunch at the Lyttleton.  We missed our times together and we are very happy that we are able to meet up once again, and we look forward to the coming year.

PRODUCE 2 REPORT FOR 2022

There are 7 in our group and for quite a long time, when we were allowed , we met at 12.30pm in Wollescote Park.  We took our own chairs and pic-nic lunch, we never broke the rules as we never had all seven of us together at any one time.  In September 2021 we lunched at the Wharf, very good food and service, we went to the Seven Stars, the Fountain at Clent where we are always sure of a good meal and in December we had afternoon tea at a small cafe in Wordsley.  I now hand over the running of this group to the capable hands of Kate Creed and Sue Brown.  I am, as we all are, looking forward to what other delights in food we will enjoy in the future,
