'Four women gather to celebrate their friendship. A quarter century of intimacies shared, betrayals survived, differences reconciled'

 

A lively discussion was held based on the four main characters with questions such as what was the character's background? What was their role in the group of friends? and what defining moment did each character have in their lives that motivated their behaviour and actions throughout the book?

It was interesting to see how members interpreted the characters and to get alternative perspectives on the events in the book

 

We then imagined the story had moved on five years and got our creative juices flowing as we wrote an epilogue for each character with some rather entertaining results!

 

A book that was enjoyed by all- we gave it 4*
